- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years RN experience required 2. Cases: Low-risk and high-risk obstetrics; must be able to float to Mother Baby as needed 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; must be via American Heart Association 4. License: WV or Compact License required; pending license acceptable 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required; also uses Surginet and Fetallink documentation 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 nights 7P-7A, weekdays, every other weekend; no blocked schedule requests 8. RTO: Should be included on application at time of submittal; no blocked schedule requests 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked permanent 10. Travel/Local: Must have permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility; will consider 75-100 miles case-by-case basis 11. Background: Any previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 2-6 hours, completed prior to start, vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted dependent upon years of experience 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical exemptions only (October 1st - March 31st) 16. Special Equipment: FHM, IV Start skills required; triage and scrub skills a plus Critical: Skills requirements include circulating experience in OR setting, FHM, IV Start. Minimum 2 manager/charge references within past 2 years required. Full file due noon Monday prior to start.
