- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years RN experience required 2. Cases: Low-risk and high-risk obstetrics; circulating experience in OR setting, FHM, IV Start, Triage and Scrub skills a plus 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; must be via American Heart Association 4. License: WV or Compact License; pending license acceptable; clean license required, hits submitted for case-by-case approval 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required; also uses Surginet and Fetallink documentation 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 nights 7p-7:30a or days 7a-7:30p, weekdays, every other weekend; must float to Mother Baby as needed 8. RTO: No blocked schedule requests; RTO should be included on application at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Perm employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked perm 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius required; facility will consider 75-99 miles case-by-case; locals not accepted 11. Background: Any previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case 12. Modules: 2-6 hours average, non-billable, completed prior to start, recorded on transcript with certificate 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted dependent upon years of experience 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required unless allergy documented by allergist or physician; flu season October 1st - March 31st 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Must float to Mother Baby as needed. Full file due noon Monday prior to start. Orientation every other Thursday. Minimum 2 manager/charge references within past 2 years required.
