- Unit Notes:June start No "local travelers" allowed Float: Ideally, would be able to float (within scope) but do not anticipate that happening too often. Prefer both labor and delivery and postpartum experienced What level of trauma facility, if any, is your facility? We are not a trauma facility How big is your facility (# of beds)? 61 bed How is there unit set up? # of beds on the Unit? # of birthing rooms? 7 total rooms, plus the nursery. We are licensed for 11 bassinets, and 9 maternity beds. Overflow rooms available adjacent to the unit if needed. Percentage of high risk births, if any? We are a Level One Nursery, so we attempt to transfer the higher risk births to a tertiary center Is the RN required to do ante(pre)/post partum? Yes Is the RN required to scrub or circulate on C-sections? No (scrub to receive the neonate from sterile field only) What is the Nurse to patient ratio?
