- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years preferred (will accept 2 years with strong experience) 2. Cases: Scrub experience preferred and required as backup; float required to mother/baby and scrub 3. Certifications: C-EFM through NCC required at submittal, BLS, NRP, STABLE required; ACLS preferred 4. License: DC license in hand required for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 shifts, call required 2 shifts per 6-week schedule, every other weekend required 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; driver's license copy required at submittal 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing; average 12 hours duration; billable up to 4 hours 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14.
