Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years preferred (will accept 2 years with strong experience) 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: C-EFM through NCC, BLS, NRP, STABLE required; ACLS preferred; C-EFM NCC certification required at time of submittal 4. License: DC license in hand for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 18:50-07:20; call required 2 shifts per 6-week schedule; every other weekend required 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated from MedStar for minimum of one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation; must be completed within one week of signing contract 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Scrub experience preferred and required; must scrub as backup as needed 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - no exemptions 16.
