Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Interventional Radiology
Shift: Variable Days / 7a-3:30p/ 8:30a-5p, 32/40 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- 3 yrs total exp required (2 yrs preferred in specialty)
- BLS, ACLS required
- EPIC exp preferred
- Previous Travel Exp preferred
- PALS preferred
Other Details:
- Medication system pyxis no floating, no on call
- Will work in multi imaging modalities including starting IV, manage access ports, monitoring VS/Tidal CO2, setting up trays/fields. Administer and monitor patients under moderate sedation, foley, chest tubes, drains, dsgs, adm IV ETOH cirrhosis, ascites requiring paracentesis, post surgical pts, requiring abcess drainage and chest tubes the RN will assist with paracenteses procedures and CT biopsies Ideally will be proficient with conscious sedation age range of patients : ped to geriatric ventilators : philips monitors, gravity flow IV Resp support 24/7 anesthesia support 24/7 John Muir Walnut Creek : 554 beds in facility Unit : 1 CT Scanner, 2 nursing bays for paracentesis Not a teaching hosp Level II Trauma hosp
