- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years Interventional Radiology experience required 2. Cases: Interventional Radiology cases 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; C-EFM NCC certification required for L&D RNs at time of submittal; PICC/Midline certification preferred 4. License: DC license in hand required for DC locations; compact license or MD license required for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 day shifts Monday-Friday; weekday call once weekly 1700-2100; weekend call every 4-5 weekends 0900-1400 Saturday and Sunday; patient ratio 1:1 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of contract signing; average 12 hours; billable up to 4 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam required for IR specialty (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms) Critical: Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
