- Required certification: Imaging Tech - MRI
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (18 months per general facility policy) 2. Cases: Neuro, MKS, Body, and MRA exams; will NOT scan Breast or Cardiac Studies 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARMRIT required; copies required at submission 4. License: IN state license required; must be in hand prior to start date 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation 6. EMR: Cerner preferred but no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10's 17:00-3:30 M/Tues/Th/Fri; weekend call every 6 weeks required 8. RTO: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; can auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires breaks for eligibility reset 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local at lower bill rate; $15 off bill rate for travelers within 50 miles; locals accepted for this position type 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission for approval 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) 16. Special Equipment: Must have experience with PACS and Siemens equipment; facility has 2 Siemens Magnatom Aera machines with syngo MR XA30 Software Critical: Floating required within hospital or affiliate hospitals. Two supervisor references required. SSN and DOB required at submittal.
