Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Adult Acute Care, ICU, and Emergency Department required 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT CT required 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12 HR MIDS 10a-10:30pm; occasionally call on weekly rotation; possible weekend coverage with 2-week notice 8. RTO: 7 days maximum auto-approved (not on holidays); no RTO during first week; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health or New Hanover staff must wait 12 months before applying; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 8-10 hours for Acute Care roles, non-billable, completed pre-start via online learning/Zoom/webinar/in-person 13. Travel Experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Not provided; Royal Blue required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: MUST HAVE SIEMENS experience required Critical: Must have Siemens experience. Lab work required within 48 hours after signing. 16 hours orientation.
