- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography required 2. Cases: CT scan and radiographic exams; produces computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs 3. Certifications: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS required; must be American Heart Association (AHA); copies required at submission 4. License: South Carolina license required; MUSC prioritizes candidates with SC license in hand but will consider pending applications 5. Education: Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, Wed-Fri, 6:30a-7p; on-call rotation among staff required; weekend work may be required if shifts not filled when on call 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs; RTO after submission not accepted; 7+ days or holidays require facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff (including PRN) must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius rule; locals accepted case-by-case at 10% less than posted bill rate; MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates first 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 4 hours; included in NBO hours; completed pre-start; reported by facility 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Black pants and Teal top 15.
