Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography required 2. Cases: CT scan and radiographic exams; adult acute care 3. Certifications: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, BLS required; must be AHA certified 4. License: SC Radiation Quality Standards Association license required; SC RN License prioritized if in hand 5. Education: Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Friday-Sunday 2 Days/1 Night schedule; on-call rotation required at BBMP only 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius rule; locals accepted case-by-case at 10% less than posted bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Average 4 hours, non-billable, completed pre-start, included in NBO hours 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Black pants and teal top 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency Critical: Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible June-November. Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. SSN required for submission.
