- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 18 months minimum (refer to job description for unit exceptions) 2. Cases: CT procedures (Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, Myelography, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction); XR procedures (Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower & Upper Extremities) 3. Certifications: BLS required, ARRT R required, Advanced ARRT preferred 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: No specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: Sat/Sun 8:00-20:00, Mon 14:00-22:00 (2x12, 1x8 shift requirement) 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO or less; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: PERM or PRN employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated break after 12 months employment 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for Surgical Services, Allied positions, IU Clinics at lower rate; not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER positions 11.
