- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years preferred 2. Cases: Medical-Surgical ICU 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; NIHSS, PALS preferred 4. License: State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 hour Days; float based on schedule; 6 weekend shifts per 6 week period 8. RTO: All RTO must be listed at time of submittal; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: UT does not contract travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris counties; travel experience preferred 11. Background: License hits not accepted 12. Modules: RN average 4-6 hours; non-billable, all hours factored in NBO; completed onsite during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14.
