- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will consider 18 months with 1 year recent specialty experience 2. Cases: High acuity adult patients, complex monitoring and treatment 3. Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIH or RED CROSS required; PALS preferred if working pediatric unit 4. License: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license; Nursys required; no temp licenses accepted 5. Education: Associate degree in nursing required 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; holidays as required; every other weekend required 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
