- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 3 years ICU-specific experience preferred in hospital setting (LTAC does not count as ICU experience) 2. Cases: CRRT, cardiac surgery, CABG, respiratory failure with vent management, DKA, altered mental status, multiple drips management 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must be current 4. License: Valid Oklahoma or Compact License required at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience REQUIRED within 1 year; must be noted next to each assignment on profile 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights, 1:2 ratios (occasional 1:3); 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks; no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 5 days in 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO; no additional RTO after submission or while on contract 9. Returning Staff: Must note if previously worked at OSUMC as traveler or permanent employee 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate as travelers; no first-time travelers (minimum one successful travel assignment required) 11. Background: No background or license hits allowed 12. Modules: 3-4 hours average, non-billable, required pre-start, recorded via transcripts or completion certificates 13. Travel Experience: Required - minimum one successful travel assignment with no performance or attendance issues 14. Scrubs: Varies by unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Pulmonary Artline/Swan Ganz monitoring, IABP management, Impella management, central lines, arterial lines Critical: Must commit to lab work within 48-72 hours of signing. One reference from manager/unit supervisor within past year required. Zero-fault attendance policy (3 missed shifts may result in cancellation). Float to Med Surg/ER required.
