Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN – ICU
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×1, 12hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU experience
- Must have Central and Port IV line experience
- A line experience
- Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- Pedi experience preferred and not required
- MAB/CPI preferred
Other Details:
- Charting system: Epic (experience not required)
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- Baxter pumps, GE monitors, CAD pumps
- Covid Vaccination and Booster Required (No Medical or Religious Exemptions accepted)
- Must live within 50-mile radius
- Patient Diagnoses: Level I Trauma, Cardiovascular, ENT, GI Minimally invasive surgery, OB/GYN/ONC, Vascular and Neurosurgery, CABG,
- Pediatric trauma, transplants (kidney, pancreas)
- Special procedures/unit details: High turnover, high acuity, high-volume, high-profile patients, see aggressive patients as well
Requirements
– Minimum 2+ years of RECENT ICU experience
– Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias
– Care of Ventilated Patient
– A line experience
– Baxter pumps, GE monitors, CAD pumps
– Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
– Must have Central and Port IV line experience
– License requirements: Active CA RN License
– References: 2 references who have supervised RN from a work assignment within the last year (Department Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager)
– Covid Vaccination and Booster Required (No Medical or Religious Exemptions accepted)
– Must live within 50 mile radius
Preferred
– Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
– MAB/CPI
– Pedi experience
Orientation Details
– In-person Orientation: 6/24
In-person Orientation will be 4 hours in the morning – time TBD
Clinicians will complete an Epic Test Out remotely along with required modules if Epic test out is failed.
· Clinicians will complete 12-14 hours of pre-start modules
Shift Detail
– Days 0700 to 1930
