Requirements
- Required certification: ICU
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years ICU experience required. Prefer 1.5 years MICU. If less than 2 years, Level I experience is required. Must have experience in a 20+ bed ICU. 2. Cases: Medical ICU cases - pressor support, ETT, Trachs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, wound care, sterile technique procedures 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required. Must pass Relias EKG exam for interpretation/management of dysrhythmias 4. License: Missouri license or compact license required at time of submission (Illinois not compact state) 5. Education: BSN preferred, CCRN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2 ratios, every other weekend required, no on-call 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract, no RTO first week 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule - no locals accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr, completed pre-start through WorkRamp, must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: MTP-Level 1 Rapid infuser, CRRT via NxStage competency required Critical: Will float within ICU service line. Must be competent caring for patients on CRRT via NxStage. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing.
