Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Sepsis, Post Cardiac Arrest, ARDS 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Alert account manager if traveler has foreign education that needs verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 1:2 patient ratio all shifts; float required to MS; weekend coverage every other 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; keep RTO close to 1 week 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted; must be greater than 75 miles 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy/White 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Ventilators, Balloon Pumps, EKOS, Level I Rapid Infuser, EPOC Critical: RNs need mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement. 8 hours orientation. Expect call upon offer within 24-48 hours.
