- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years preferred; ICU experience required; Experience at Large Level 1/2 Facility required 2. Cases: ICU and PCU patients; Adult and Geriatric patient populations 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 6:45p-7:15a; Must work one holiday per 13-week contract (2 holidays for winter holidays); 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling block; Float required - could float 2-3 times per shift (every 4 hours) 8. RTO: All RTO requests must be included with submission; 2 pre-approved time off periods 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning; after July 1, 2025 - no return after 365 days worked regardless of separation period 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (within 100 miles) not accepted; 50-99.9 miles away may be considered for one assignment with no extension; under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate with no extension 11.
