Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; at least 18 months of critical care experience; specialty experience within the last year required 2. Cases: Critical Care Units (SICU, MICU, CCU, OICU); traumatic injuries, surgical complications, Neuro patients, open-heart surgery, critically ill medical patients, cardiac procedures, oncology patients, DKA, ETOH withdrawal 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS must be through American Heart Association (AHA) 4. License: VA License required in hand at submittal or proof of compact license 5. Education: NIH and stroke education required for RNs 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift (Fri, Sat, Sun); every other weekend required; may be scheduled for holidays 8. RTO: Keep to minimum; no calendar week off during assignment; no more than 7 days total; must be in initial submission; no additional RTO after offer given 9. Returning Staff: Prior permanent employees must be gone for at least 6 months before being hired for travel 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same base rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
