Requirements
- Required certification: ICU
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year ICU experience required; 2 years specialty experience required for most submittals 2. Cases: Oncology patients, thoracic surgeries, skin flaps, chest tube management, esophagectomies 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode), CHEMO Cert required; NIH, OCN, TNCC preferred; must have certifications in hand, no pending 4. License: GA license in hand upon submission required; no pending license; does not accept EMSA 5. Education: BSN required for all RN positions 6. EMR: Epic required for some units; Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour shifts with weekends as-needed; 1:2 ICU ratio; possible float to MICU at 1:4 ratio 8. RTO: No restrictive rules on RTO; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees will not be submitted/considered for travel positions 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at local rate within 75-mile radius; travel pairs allowed 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Modules are not required 13. Travel Experience: Not required; accepts first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Black scrubs, not provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Must have Flu Vaccine or signed Flu Declination form during flu season (October-March) 16. Special Equipment: Tablo for dialysis patients Critical: All OT must be approved by Charge RN on daily basis. 12 hours orientation. Trauma Level II facility experience required.
