- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes:ASAP START! 13-15wk contract, 6p-6:30am. Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday = a weekend for ICU night shift) This position WILL FLOAT! Float to Tele, MedSurg, ED, and TCU if needed (If no ED exp, then manager will still consider, but MUST float to medsurg) Must have prior travel experience - PLEASE MAKE SURE TRAVELER IS 100% INTERESTED IN POSITION Must accept offer within 24 hours Drug, Titers, BKG, must all be completed within 3 business days of accepting offer - PA Fingerprints must be scheduled with appointment time/date provided of accepting offer MSP- Unit Manager will interview Will take care of COVID and non COVID Float: ICU RN's that will float whenever needed to Telemetry but could also be asked to float to Med Surg. PLEASE CONFIRM THEY ARE OKAY WITH THIS Will need to take an IV and Med test on first day. There will be an additional physical and drug screen the week before first day (unpaid) MSP- Unit Manager will interview Will take care of COVID and non COVID Float: ICU RN's that will float whenever needed to Telemetry but could also be asked to float to Med Surg. PLEASE CONFIRM THEY ARE OKAY WITH THIS Will need to take an IV and Med test on first day. Yes & charge Drips Yes, vasopressors, sedation and paralytics Vents yes Hospitalist Yes & Intensivist and Hicuity ICU in each room 24/7 (tele critical care) IV team No RT 24/7 yes Pharmacy 24/7 yes Shifts 6pm-6am, Floating Yes all MMC inpatient units Floor specific orientation ICU 12 hr day & 12 hr night Common diagnosis / Types of patients Respiratory failure, sepsis, STEMI, post-TPA stroke, overdose, suicide attempts, sepsis, shocks, heart blocks, COVID Additional Notes Intensivist readily available to return when not in hospital however each ICU room has a critical care tele-med camera and alert button, ED physician and hospitalist in house 24/7 Additional Questions Security tech on night shift Cancellation Policy:0 Charting System:MEDITECH BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:6p-6a with every other weekend Required Certifications:BLS Certification, NIHSS, ACLS
