- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have limited neuro experience at minimum 2. Cases: Neuro/Stroke patients, vascular surgeries, multi-level back surgeries, general critical care patients; fresh post-op craniotomies 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH required; CCRN preferred; CPI can be obtained at facility for $100 4. License: Valid LA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no call; float required between SCU, NCU, CCU and ED for CC admits; patient ratios 2-3 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent employee at LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel 10. Travel/Local: Must live more than 75 miles from facility or local rate applies 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 5-8 hours for RN, non-billable, completed pre-start, recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - no exemptions 16. Special procedures include A-lines, central lines, NIH evaluations, vent settings, HD managed by dialysis staff, CRRT managed by RN.
