Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required 2. Cases: COPD, CHF, AKI/ARF, DKA, OD, post surgical, hyperkalemia, hyponatremia, GI bleeds; cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required; multi-system organ failure experience; chronic/acute renal failure experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH required; must be AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Active IL license required in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift 1900-0730; every other weekend required; no on-call; will float as needed 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restriction for ICU (50+ miles required only for OR RN) 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start, renewed annually; strict deadlines with 4PM CST Day 1 deadline 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator management, chest tubes, central lines, PICC lines Critical: Patient ratio 1:2 all shifts in 4-bed ICU. Must complete compliance within 1 week of signing contract. First day is virtual at-home day for modules.
