Qualifications:

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (preferably 2 years) 2. Cases: MICU cases 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights 7p-7a with holiday rotation; every other weekend required; no on-call 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs; auto offers for 7 days or less non-holiday RTO 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius rule; locals not accepted; non-local candidates prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 4 hours; completed pre-start; included in NBO hours 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first-time travelers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Royal blue scrub color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Extensive ICU equipment including ECMO, ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, IABP, Swan Ganz monitoring Critical: Float required with agency floating first. Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams. SSN required for submission.
