Qualifications:

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; 1.5+ years with strong ICU/PCU floating experience acceptable for screening 2. Cases: ICU, PCU, MS floating; ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI's, UTI's, Acute Shock 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must be in hand prior to start date 4. License: In-state license required; must be in hand prior to start date 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12's 19:00-7:30; floating 100% required between ICU/PCU, MS, and ED 8. RTO: Must work 2/3 major holidays; auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO 9. Returning Staff: Former IU employees must be away 12 months; consecutive contract policy requires breaks after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted for this position (Critical Care Float); IN residents considered local 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission for approval 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Required; first-timers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Red top, black bottoms 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Ventilator, Arctic Sun, Balloon Pump (rare) Critical: Must confirm traveler aware of floating across ICU, MS, PCU and ED as helping hands. Patient ratios 2-5. Orientation 24 hours.
