- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Medically complex, critically ill patients; respiratory failure requiring ventilation; post cardiac arrest with TTM; multisystem organ failure; shock states; CVA post tPA; COVID; ARDS; DKA; ETOH withdrawal 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; 2 hours of stroke specific education each year 4. License: WA RN or Compact RN for RN jobs required in-hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3X12 Days; weekends required; float required; all travelers expected to float between like units within skill set 8. RTO: 5 days maximum (Aya and client offer); more than 5 days may delay offer; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day); 2 requests pre-approved for auto offer 9. Returning Staff: 3 month rule to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50 mile radius rule applies; no locals accepted 11. Background: Must notify of background or Nursys hits at time of submittal; can submit with hits but must present to client for written approval 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; self-reported completion recorded in Workramp transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first-timers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color (no reddish orange permitted) 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Zoll intravascular cooling catheter for TTM, Tortoise proning system, Phillips monitors, Drager ventilators, Zoll defibrillators and transport monitors Critical: Patient ratios 2:1 standard, may increase to 4:1 with boarders. May float to sister hospital nearby. 2 references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. 24 orientation hours. Level II Trauma Center experience required.
