- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and/or 2 years comprehensive stroke center experience in a large hospital with some Neuro experience; must have at least 2 years nursing experience (RN) 2. Cases: Fast paced ICU treating neurological diseases and disorders, seizures, strokes - comprehensive stroke center; also treat overflow ICU patients from Medical Surgical ICU and Heart and Vascular ICU 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required - must read and interpret strips 4. License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for temp license on offer (takes 5-10 days); compact license accepted; facility does not accept any past license action 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Must be available to work every other weekend/holiday; patient ratio experience of 3 required 8. RTO: Request RTO with initial submittal; no RTO added after offer; RTO approval at manager's discretion; maximum 14 days allowed; all schedule requests and RTO must be on front page of application at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius for nursing; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12.
