Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year CVICU experience required (dedicated CVICU staff experience); 2 years listed in qualifications 2. Cases: Level 1 Trauma experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required 4. License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for temp license on offer (takes 5-10 days); compact license accepted; no past license actions accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour shifts available; must work every other weekend/holiday; OT paid after 48 hours for 48-hour contracts 8. RTO: Must request with initial submittal; no RTO added after offer; manager's discretion; maximum 14 days allowed; all requests must be on front page of application 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius for nursing; locals not accepted 11. Background: Facility does not accept any past license action 12. Modules: 18-24 average hours during orientation; up to 24 hours billable; up to 8 hours annually; self-reported to manager 13. Travel Experience: Preferred; will take first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue Scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Chest tubes, Temporary Pacers, CRRT, ECMO, Impella Pump, EKOS Critical: Must complete lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing contract. Must pass online EKG tele competency assessment. Patient ratios 1:2. Will float at facility's discretion. Facility reserves right to cancel 2 shifts per contract due to low census.
