- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Neuro ICU Experience required 2. Cases: Patient population includes ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhages, seizures, neuromuscular diseases, meningitis, and post-operative neurosurgery patients 3. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS required (AHA Certifications only) 4. License: Valid compact or state license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; on-call required; patient ratio 1:1-2; floating required to different units within OSU organization 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off days; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; previous travel experience preferred 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Yes, preferred 14.
