- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Step-down/PCU-type patients; all diagnoses 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 1:3 days, nights, and weekends; weekend shifts assigned according to unit staffing needs 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off periods; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as travelers at any OSU hospital location 10.
