- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required 2. Cases: Cardiac Medical ICU - ACS, Acute MI, Cardiogenic Shock, Post interventional cardiac procedure patients, Decompensating heart failure, TAVR 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; AHA Certifications only 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required; proficiency in EPIC documentation system preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12's Night shift; no on-call; weekend coverage every other weekend; float required to different units within OSU organization as needed 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission, must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel nursing experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately after contract signing. Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director. Patient ratios 1:1-2 (estimated) or 2:1 (specified). Skills include ventilator management, IV proficiency, telemetry experience, arterial line management, and various ICU competencies.
