- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Surgical and trauma adult critical care patients; Level 1 trauma experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; TNCC listed; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license (can submit with pending license but must have in-hand Wednesday before start date) 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours available; nights; every other weekend and holiday; block scheduling cannot be accommodated 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; cannot approve Memorial Day weekend; no additional requests after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of separation; facility does not allow return after 365 days despite separation period 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile restriction; this unit not listed as restricted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Up to 16 hours non-billable, excess hours billable; completed during orientation; recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
