- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum; 1st timers accepted 2. Cases: Medical Surgical ICU with Sepsis/Severe Sepsis/Septic shock, Respiratory Failure/Pulmonary diseases, S/P Cardiac Arrest, GI bleed/Hemorrhagic shock, DKA, Acute Kidney Disease, complicated surgery cases, and other complex medical conditions 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified; no call requirements; 1:2-3 patient ratio 8. RTO: MAX 7 days; Spring Break blackout (April 4th-12th); holiday policy based on number of holidays in assignment period 9. Returning Staff: Must be away for 1 FULL YEAR from all Piedmont facilities; if deemed unable to return to one facility, must complete successful assignment outside Piedmont before rebooking at new location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; travel experience required 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded via transcripts, hours factored in NBO 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Spacelabs monitors, Zoll Defibrillators, PrismaMax, Arctic Sun, Wound Vacs, Blood Warmers, Rapid Infusers, BIS monitoring, Bedside Glucometer, Bladder scanner, external Pacemakers Critical: Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract. Two supervisory references required (Manager or above). Compliance document deadline is Tuesday prior to start.
