- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum; 1st timers accepted 2. Cases: All potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH required 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; also Pyxis, SBAR 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in 13-week contract); floating required; no call requirements 8. RTO: MAX 7 days per contract; Spring Break blackout (April 4th-12th); holiday policy varies by number of holidays in assignment period 9. Returning Staff: Must be away 1 FULL YEAR from all Piedmont facilities to return as traveler; if deemed unable to return to one facility, must complete successful assignment outside Piedmont before rebooking 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, hours factored in NBO, recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
