- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, esophageal varices and banding, pre/post procedure, inpatient, outpatient endoscopy center, portable/bedside travel cases 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; PALS listed in skills 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 hour days (7A-3P) or 4x10 hour days (7A-5P); call rotation 4 weeknights in 6 week schedule plus 1 weekend 8. RTO: All requests must be included in submission; two pre-approved time off requests allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning as traveler; facility does not allow return after working 365 days on assignment despite separation period 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 100 miles not accepted; travelers 50-99.9 miles may be considered for one assignment with no extension; travelers under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate for one assignment 11.
