Qualifications:

- 1+ years of experience
- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years of GI/Endo related experience required 2. Cases: GI procedures under general anesthesia, MAC, and moderate sedation including EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, GI bleed management, EUS, ERCP, and specimen handling 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, LA Fire Card required; copies required at submission 4. License: CA RN License required; valid permanent California license must be in hand at submission; Nursys report within last two weeks required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting highly preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Weekend not required, floating required, on-call not required 8. RTO: No scheduling or RTO requests can be accommodated; maximum two weeks total; no RTO within first two weeks of start; holiday RTO at manager discretion; block scheduling cannot be accommodated 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent employees must be gone 24 months before eligible for travel positions; all past Cedars employment must be included on profile 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Any license or background hit requires detailed written statement; reviewed case-by-case 12. Modules: 10-40 hours; first 17 hours billable, after 17 hours non-billable; completed pre-start and during orientation; self-reported on module time card 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Scrub experience required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Olympus, ERBE, Fujifilm, Arietta; Boston Scientific, Olympus, COOK, Conmed; various clips and accessories Critical: Pediatric Endo, PACU, Inpatient and scrub experience required. Two supervisor references required at submission. Patient ratio 1:1. Floating within hospital required.
