Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: At least 2 years ER experience required (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred) 2. Cases: ER cases 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at submission); NIHSS (must obtain prior to start); no pending certs accepted 4. License: No license hits accepted; no pending licenses accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required 7. Shifts/Call: 2 weekends per month required; no on-call; guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12s or 40 hours for 8/10s 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission only; no later additions approved 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: 6-15 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad; time-sensitive modules must be prioritized 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: White scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator care, central line care Critical: Must be nicotine free with negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen. EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation (2 attempts max, no remediation). Two references from direct supervisors required. COVID-19 vaccine required.
