- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3+ years in specialty required for this position; 1+ years required for submission 2. Cases: Common acute complaints including trauma, chest pain, abdominal pain, sepsis, SOB, psych; high acuity due to trauma and cardiac patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN in-hand, NIH required; travelers allowed to get certifications before starting 4. License: NY State License required (must have at least applied if still pending); submit with recent Nursys 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Weekend coverage required; patient ratios 1:4 days/nights/weekends but may flex to 1:5 or more during surge periods; subacute/supertrack ratio 1:5-1:6 8.
