- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will consider 18 months with 1 year recent experience in specialty field 2. Cases: Emergency Department, all age groups, Level III Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center; treats 60,000+ patients per year 3. Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS or Red Cross; TNCC and SECURE on site required 4. License: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted); NURSYS required 5. Education: Associate degree in nursing required 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours per week; holiday coverage as required 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals 11.
