- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Emergency Room cases including adult/pediatric patients, STEMI, stroke, trauma, psychiatric holds, and various emergency conditions 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS required; CPI and TNCC preferred; must be AHA certified 4. License: Valid state license required at submission; Missouri requires MO or compact license; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required for charting 7. Shifts/Call: Night shifts (F/S/Su), every other weekend required, no on-call, 36 hours per week guaranteed 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract, no RTO first week, must be specified at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr, completed pre-start via WorkRamp, must finish 2 Fridays before start date 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Navy color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Various emergency equipment including ventilators, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP Critical: Patient ratio 1:4, floating required within service line, labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing, compliance deadline 3pm CST Monday before start date.
