- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: All diagnoses; emergency department cases including CVA, gunshot wounds, head injury, trauma, STEMI, stroke 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required; CPI preferred; must be from authority figures within last year 4. License: Valid Florida state or compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Previous acute care large hospital experience required; certain educational institutions not accepted (see attached document) 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: On-call as needed; 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule cycle; patient ratios 1:4 8. RTO: Finalized RTO must be included with submission; RTO will not be accepted after offer 9. Returning Staff: Must wait 1 year after leaving internal contracted position 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at travel rate; may float to 4 locations (Holmes, Viera, Cape Canaveral, Palm Bay) 11. Background: Background policy must be noted prior to submission for approval 12. Modules: Non-billable, factored in NBO; completed during orientation and annually via facility LMS system 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color - provide your own or wear provided scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required 10/31-3/31; Medical/Religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Arterial lines, BiPAP/CPAP, central lines, ventilators, ICP monitoring Critical: Must be available for lab work within 72 hours of signing. Two references from authority figures within last year required. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only. Interview availability in EST required at submission.
