Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 2 years experience listed in qualifications; less than 2 years experience accepted per job description 2. Cases: Must have prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required; TNCC, CPI preferred 4. License: IL RN license in hand required; Nursys within last 2 weeks; no license hits allowed 5. Education: Teaching Hospital preferred 6. EMR: Epic charting required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; 6 weekend shifts per contract (6 weeks); floating required; 1:4 patient ratios 8. RTO: Maximum 3 days; no RTO first or last week of contract 9. Returning Staff: Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must be gone 7 months to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate 11. Background: Must use legal first and last name for background check and badge process 12. Modules: 2-3 hours, non-billable, completed during orientation, recorded by facility report 13.
