- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum experience required 2. Cases: Pediatric ED and pediatric inpatient experience required (hybrid unit) 3. Certifications: Copy of certifications required at submission 4. License: NJ State or Compact RN License required; valid state license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift 1900-0730; every other weekend required (Sat/Sun); no on call; holidays required 8. RTO: RTO required at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Will not accept first time traveler; locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Facility requires TABB background checks 12. Modules: Unit-based competency, medication and EKG testing required during compliance process; 80% passing score; only 1 attempt allowed 13. Travel Experience: Will not accept first time traveler 14. Scrubs: Black pants with child-friendly scrub top or all black 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: RTLS Badge - $37.50 cost if lost or not returned Critical: Primary PEDS ED but will float to Adult ED if census is low. No floating required otherwise.
