- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Emergency Department caring for both pediatrics and adults; variety of chief complaints including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, musculoskeletal injuries 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS required; TNCC and ENPC preferred; all RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system; EPIC experience required for certain units 7. Shifts/Call: 1:4 patient ratios; guaranteed 36 hours for 3-12s; no on-call required; every other weekend required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; cannot be changed once profile sent to manager 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then must take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates accepted within 75 miles 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract and complete 2 Fridays before start date 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Glucostabilizer and Level 1 infuser Critical: Must be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult populations. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal; Barnes-Jewish West County requires two supervisory references within last two years.
