Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have either 1 year Level 1 trauma facility experience OR 2 years Level 2 trauma facility experience out of at least 2 years ER experience; need experience with pediatric patients 2. Cases: Level I Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke, Chest Pain (STEMI) Center; triage experience 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required; can submit with TNCC pending but must have before start; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license pending acceptable; must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours; nights; weekends required; every other holiday; patient ratios 4/5 for days, nights, and weekends; scheduled days vary based on staffing needs; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed 8. RTO: Maximum 40 hours per 13-week contract; no additional RTO requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; permanent staff and internal travelers must be separated for one year and approved by leadership; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of separation 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile travel restriction; locals not accepted for specified units including various lab, OR, radiology positions 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; excess time is billable; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
