Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have either 1 year Level 1 trauma facility experience or 2 years Level 2 trauma facility experience; need pediatric patient experience 2. Cases: Level I Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke, Chest Pain (STEMI) Center; triage experience 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required (can submit with TNCC pending but must have before start); copies required with submission 4. License: VA license required (can submit with pending but must have in-hand Wednesday before start date); Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Nights, 36 or 48 hours, weekends required, every other holiday, patient ratios 4/5 all shifts 8. RTO: Maximum 40 hours per 13-week contract; no additional requests after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; separation for one year required and UVA leadership approval needed; cannot return after working 365 days regardless of separation period 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50-mile travel restriction; this unit not listed as having mile radius rule 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, recorded in Workday; excess hours are billable 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
