- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years RN experience required; 1-year minimum in-specialty experience required 2. Cases: Level 1 Trauma, neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, renal emergencies; high psych population 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI required; BLS, ACLS, PALS must be via American Heart Association; CPI available through Qualivis and must be obtained >1 week before start 4. License: WV/Compact RN License required; pending license acceptable but must have active license in hand to submit 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12hr nights 7p-7a, every other weekend required, float if needed, no call requirements 8. RTO: No restrictions specified 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked permanent; current Vandalia Health System employees not eligible for travel contracts 10. Travel/Local: Permanent address greater than 100 miles required; facility will consider 75-100 miles case-by-case 11. Background: Any previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case 12. Modules: 2-6 hours average, non-billable, completed prior to start, vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted if they have appropriate experience 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
