Requirements
- Required certification: ER
- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes:75 Mile Radius rule. The Driver's license address MUST be listed in the emailed submit in order to be considered. Must have 5+ years experience and at least 1 travel assignment. MUST HAVE MEDITECH EXPERIENCE Keep in mind that all travelers MUST have TNCC, # Psych/seclusion rooms Have a 6 bed behavioral lock down area that is staffed by psych. # patients per day approx 180-200 visits per day Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS., CPI Ratios 1 to 4 EMR Meditech 6.15 Charge Nurse Yes Nurse Aides/Paramedics Yes, 5-6 per shift Security/Patient sitters Yes, will hold in main ER until admitted, will have safety sitters Weekend Requirement Every other weekend Holidays Every other Scrub Color Caribbean Blue Tele/Monitor Techs Central monitoring tech Vents - Will hold in ER until admitted. 24/7 Respiratory therapist that manage them ED Physicians/Mid-Levels MD/SO shifts: 6a-4p-1 provider 8a-6p-1 provider 10a-8p-1provider 2p-2a-1 provider 5p-3a-1 provider 8p-6a-1 provider 10p-8a-1 provider APP Shifts: 7a-7p-1 NP/PA 9a-9p-1 NP/PA 11a-11p-1 NP/PA 7p-7a-1 NP/PA Lab Draws- Nurses do own IV Team Nurses start own RT 24/7- Yes and dedicated to ER Pharmacy- 24/7 In dept 11 hours per day and on campus 24/7 Floor specific orientation- 2 shifts Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Peds to geriatrics, get trauma here, will keep some of trauma, some neuro keep but a lot of neuro trauma ship out, ortho keep some and ship some, no burns kept here, are a CVA center Additional information Please include the callout process as this is becoming a significant issue for us with our agency staff Please reiterate the expectation of completing ORT during week one.
