Requirements
- Required certification: EP Tech
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; minimum 1 year experience required 2. Cases: 6-12 procedures daily; electrophysiology experience with implants, complex ablations, LAAO, cardioversions, tilt table and TEE procedures required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Late shifts required, no call; must address shift availability upfront 8. RTO: Should be included at submission, approved by unit manager on WOC; no guaranteed time off; no time off during first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same base rate; no radius rules for applicants 11. Background: Facility will review all background hits 12. Modules: Average 6 hours, non-billable, completed during orientation on VCU Learning Exchange; must be completed by Friday of orientation week 13. Travel Experience: Trauma Level I experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Natural nail policy required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown; COVID-19 vaccine not required 16. Special Equipment: Biosense Webster Carto, Siemens SC200 ultrasound, Sonosite ultrasound, Siemens P500 ultrasound, Medtronic cryotherapy, GE CardioLab, GE biplane and single plane X-Ray, Baylis RF Critical: Must have electrophysiology experience. Skills required: scrub procedures, circulate procedures, procedural sedation administration/monitoring. Candidates will float within scope if needed. Two references required.
